When to go to Algarve

The Algarve region of Portugal is the sunniest, driest and warmest part of the country. It experiences one of the most stable climates in the world with its mild weather influenced by the Mediterranean and Atlantic seas, owing to its closeness to North Africa. The summer months are full of sunshine and temperatures from May to August can reach as high as 30°C. Sea temperatures are also lovely and warm so you can take full advantage of the endless stretches of some of Europe's finest beaches. Even the winter weather is excellent with plenty of sunshine hours, it’s a great place to escape the cold UK winters and from December to February temperatures in the sun are still in the low 20s.
