the guides were enthusiastic friendly and spoke very good English which we could easily understand. They had a good background knowledge of the places we were visiting. We went on all the extra optional excursions and enjoyed them very much.
Our main guide Lee was always friendly and in whom we had upmost confidence. His organisation was excellent and together with his excellent driver he provided us with an unforgetable holiday. His English was brilliant and he went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our trip.

1st Nov 2017

The HongKong extension of the holidays was advertised as 3 days 2 nights. It was in fact 1 day 6 hours and 2 nights.
We cleared book-in at the hotel at 6pm on day 1 with no idea what the following days tour itinerary consisted of and so we did the ride up to the peak that evening. The tour the following morning on day 2 wasn’t great and ended up at the peak. In the afternoon we visited sites from travel books and it quickly became apparent that the morning tour wasn’t great because there’s very little to see in HongKong other than the Peak.
On returning back to the hotel that evening we had to phone the contact number to find out what time the airport pickup would be the next day. It turned out to be 4:50 am on day 3.
The lunch at the airport in Guilin was very poor as was the lunch at the Terracotta Warriors.
